New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based ProHealth Care Associates LLP has selected GE Healthcare Centricity EMR, along with the vendor’s RIS and billing IT solutions — Discovery PET/CT and Centricity electronic data interchange (EDI).
According to GE, the content embedded in Centricity EMR will help ProHealth physicians with evidence-based alerts and point-of-care decisions for reduced medical errors. In addition, GE claims its EDI Web-based claims management solution will assist in managing claims with proactive monitoring and customized task management, while its Discovery PET/CT system will provide more accurate information to aid physicians in making treatment decisions.
ProHealth Care is a multi-specialty patient-care organization that serves more than 750,000 patients per year.
