Kodak Signs MMR as Independent Software Vendor

Rochester, N.Y.-based Kodak signed an agreement with Los Angeles-based MyMedicalRecords, Inc. (MMR), a subsidiary of MMR Information Systems, Inc.

Rochester, N.Y.-based Kodak signed an agreement with Los Angeles-based MyMedicalRecords, Inc. (MMR), a subsidiary of MMR Information Systems, Inc.

According to the companies, Kodak scanners and Capture Pro Software will work with the MMRPro System and Personal Health Records (PHR) products to help lower the cost and increase the efficiency of digitally capturing and managing information from paper-based medical files.

The MyMedicalRecords PHR service allows documents, images and voicemail messages to be transmitted and stored in the MyMedicalRecords PHR system using a variety of methods, including fax, phone, or file upload, without relying on any specific electronic medical record platform.
