Texas Hospital Selects Content Management Suite

Texas Children's Hospital has selected Hyland Software's OnBase enterprise content management (ECM) software suite, in an effort to provide the institution with a document management system.

OnBase will be integrated with EpicCare Hospital and Ambulatory solutions from Epic Systems Corporation (Verona, Wis.) to complete the hospital's electronic medical record (EMR) solution.

According to Hyland Software (Westlake, Ohio), hospital clinicians will have access not only to the information stored inherently in Epic but also the outside records that will now be obtainable through the OnBase interface with Epic.
