Philadelphia-based Pennsylvania Hospital, a 515-bed acute care facility, has partnered with eWebHealth, the technology division of medical record provider ChartOne Inc., to enhance access to critical patient information and help meet the hospital's legal EHR objectives.

According to ChartOne (Burlington, Mass.), its solution's technical capabilities consist of coding workflow, chart completion, electronic signature, release of information, electronic chart access and emergency department electronic chart access.

Pennsylvania Hospital has implemented the full eWebHealth suite, a technology that has the advantage of "anytime, anywhere" record access in a paperless environment, says the company.
