Lake Forest Hospital, a 215-bed hospital in Chicago, has deployed the OneSign single sign-on solution from Lexington, Mass.-based Imprivata Inc., and Vernon Hills, Ill.-based CDW Healthcare.

In addition to the password efficiencies and increased staff productivity, Lake Forest utilizes the solution’s built-in monitoring capabilities to track which users access which applications and when, enabling Lake Forest to generate detailed access logs and reports that provide audit trails, according to the organization.

The two companies have partnered to bring Imprivata’s SSO, authentication management and security solutions to the healthcare market.
