Baptist St. Anthony’s Health System (BSA) in Amarillo, Texas is implementing Somerset, N.J.-based Wellsoft Corporation’s Emergency Department Information System (EDIS).

The Health System will incorporate several functions of the EDIS, including patient tracking, risk management, order tracking and real-time reporting, according to the company. The solution will be integrated into the existing hospital information system at BSA, it says.

Baptist St. Anthony Health System includes a 451-bed not-for-profit community hospital, which serves over 40,000 patients in its ED each year, and provides service to the Texas panhandle and the tri-state area.
