Initiate Systems Acquires Accenx

Chicago-based Initiate Systems, Inc. has acquired Accenx Technologies, Inc. (Irvine, Calif.), a provider of health information exchange solutions that uses a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) delivery model.

Through the acquisition, Initiate hopes to expand the reach of its interoperability solutions and enable a broader set of healthcare stakeholders to connect and share information, it says.
