Kevin Lane is the new Vice President, Chief Information Officer at Silver Cross Hospital (Joliet, IL), where he will head Information Technology, Biomedical Technology, Guest Services and Health Information Management.

Lane previously served as CIO at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center (MHMC), where he managed the implementation of a clinical information systems suite. Prior to MHMC, Lane was a partner at The Foster Group, a Chicago-based management consulting firm for the healthcare industry.

Lane holds a Masters in Computer Science from The Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Perdue University. He is a member of HIMSS and the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives.

Silver Cross Hospital is a not-for-profit health care provider serving Will County with over 2,500 employees, physicians and volunteers operating a 304-bed acute care hospital and eight satellite facilities for outpatient services.
