In an effort to provide clinicians with patient data at the point of care, GE Healthcare IT has launched Centricity Enterprise Monitored Care, an application designed to integrate clinical and medical device data under one standard platform.

Developed in partnership with the University of California San Francisco (UCSF), the application augments an electronic record using data captured directly from bedside devices in monitored environments such as intensive care, cardiac care units (ICU, CCU), and the emergency department, says the United Kingdom-based company.
