New York's Montefiore Medical Center has implemented Wakefield, Mass.-based Picis Inc.'s CareSuite total perioperative automation solution to manage the clinical, administrative and financial functions of the surgical care environment at each of its hospitals.
According to Picis, CareSuite documents the entire surgical episode from preoperative scheduling and evaluation of patients through surgery and anesthesia care to recovery. Beyond the clinical experience, CareSuite also integrates all administrative and business tasks and functions along the care continuum, the company says.
As part of this agreement, Picis says Montefiore has chosen CareSuite OR Manager, Anesthesia Manager, Preop Manager, PACU Manager, SmarTrack, Extelligence and Anesthesia Professional Fee Billing modules for implementation.
