The Washington-based HHS’ Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology is currently accepting nominations for two federal advisory boards: the HIT Standards Committee and the HIT Policy Committee.

The advisory boards will provide recommendations to the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology on standards, implementation specifications, and certification criteria for health information technology adoption, it says.

Letters of nomination and resumes should be submitted by March 16, 2009 to the Office of the National Coordinator, Department of Health and Human Services, 200 Independence Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20201 (attention: Judith Sparrow, Room 729D).
