    Cain Medical Ltd. (Cambridge, UK) and InterSystems Corporation (Cambridge, Mass.) have formed a technology partnership to interface Cain Medical's CMSense technology to the InterSystems Ensemble integration platform.

    According to Cain, CMSense enables applications to collect clinical data from bedside medical devices such as patient monitors, ventilators and infusion pumps. Cain contends its CMSense solution provides a single standardized interface to any device.

    InterSystems Ensemble is a rapid integration platform that enriches applications with new functionality, and makes them connectable, the company says.
