Merge Healthcare, a Milwaukee-based medical imaging solutions provider, is introducing MergeCOM-3 Version 3.9, the newest supplement its DICOM toolkit.

Version 3.9 is designed to support the newest standard supplements for medical imaging software development, according to Merge. It will also provide greater flexibility for developers to work in different programming platforms, specifically in the .Net and 64-bit environments, they say.

According to Merge, it now offers availability in Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows Vista, Linux and Unix operating systems.
