South Texas Total Eye Care (“STTEC”) of San Antonio, a physician-owned IPA providing eye care for more than 13,000 members, signed a BPO (business processing outsourcing) agreement with Ashland, Ore.-based Plexis.

According to the company, the agreement represents a move by STTEC from internal manual processing of claims to fully outsourced automated claims management supported by Plexis’ proprietary PCM (Plexis Claims Manager) technology.
