Radiology Reporting Links with Speech Engine

U.K.-based GE Healthcare rolled out the Centricity Precision Reporting solution. The product, according to the company, weds radiology with speech.

Embedded in Centricity RIS-IC, the product uses advanced speech technology to better understand the natural flow of language for more accurate speech recognition without extensive training or workflow changes, the company touts. According to the company, the technology creates structured documents that capture and store text, as well as additional data based on the clinical document architecture standard.
