Johns Hopkins Hospital and Health System (Baltimore), University of Michigan Health System (Ann Arbor, Mich.), and University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (Little Rock, Ark.) are deploying the eHealthConnect service from Rochester, N.Y.-based eHealth Global Technologies, Inc. to streamline medical records management in their solid organ transplant departments.

eHealthConnect provides medical records and imaging study collection by eHealth Global’s clinical customer support team for patients that are referred to these facilities. The records and images are then digitized and made accessible through a secure delivery method, according to the company.
