David Lee, M.H.A., has been named director of clinic operations at the Friends of Children Health Center, a non-profit community health center in La Habra, Calif. Lee will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the community clinic and will be tasked with leading initiatives, such as continued enhancements to patient care and the implementation of a new electronic medical records system.
The Friends of Children Health Center currently accommodates approximately 20,000 medical visits and 4,500 dental visits annually for underinsured and vulnerable children in need of healthcare services, and is operated and underwritten by the La Habra-based Institute for Healthcare Advancement.
Prior to joining Friends of Children, Lee was the administrator at Bergman Medical Group and a special consultant to Whittier Medical Center. He has also served as administrator and vice president of corporate relations at Los Angeles Urgent Medical Center, and regional director of business development and marketing at Rehability Corporation.
