Crystal Run Healthcare Deploys E-security

Crystal Run Healthcare, a seven-site specialty practice based in Middletown, N.Y., has deployed Sunnyvale, Calif.’s Proofpoint Messaging Security Gateway to defend against inbound spam and virus threats, as well as to prevent leaks of confidential information in outbound e-mail messages.

According to the company, Crystal Run Healthcare has been able to secure approximately 200,000 messages per month, of which 84 percent is spam, and ensure up-to-date compliance with HIPAA regulations.
