Cleveland-based Hyland Software says it has purchased privately held Valco Data Systems (Salem, N.H.), a provider of document management, document imaging, and health information management integration solutions focused on the healthcare market.

Founded in 1994, Valco is a full-service company providing software, integration, consulting, support, and training services to more than 300 hospitals, regional health information organizations and integrated delivery networks across North America.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
