Arlington, Texas-based Emergisoft Corporation is introducing EmergisoftED version 5.1, a CCHIT-Certified 08 Emergency Department EHR.

According to the company, the latest version includes new features designed to automate and streamline workflow and provide patients with more efficient and improved quality of care in the ED. The solution, which is among the first group of EDIS products to be CCHIT Certified, ran for 45 days at the Chester River Hospital Center, part of the Chester River Health System in Chestertown, Md.
