Cardiologists can benefit from mistakes made by others and obtain practical guidelines for evaluating, selecting and implementing an EMR system at an educational symposium on Saturday, March 29 in Chicago.

The Medical Informatics Engineering (MIE, Fort Wayne, Ind.)-sponsored program, entitled Cardiology Practice EMR Selection: Tales from the Trenches, will be led by Michael Mirro, M.D., American College of Cardiology (ACC) trustee and chair of the ACC IT committee, and Chicago-area cardiologist Jay Alexander, M.D.
