Robinson Memorial Hospital, a 150-bed facility in Ravenna, Ohio, is undergoing an accelerated deployment of the Sunrise Enterprise integrated suite of solutions from Atlanta-based Eclipsys Corporation. The hospital will implement Eclipsys’ CPOE system and its integrated pharmacy, emergency care, ambulatory care and clinical documentation solutions. Knowledge-Based Medication Administration, a bar-coded medication administration system, will be used to assist nurses in validating the five rights of medication administration, says the company. Included in the roll-out is Helios by Eclipsys, an open technology platform that supports flexibility and a lower total cost of ownership, it touts.

Robinson Memorial Hospital is a progressive hospital serving the residents of Portage County and surrounding communities. The second-largest employer in the county, Robinson Memorial includes an urgent care facility, surgery center, imaging facilities and a network of physician practices.
