The San Francisco Health Plan (SFHP) and a third party administrator for the San Francisco Department of Public Health's new Healthy San Francisco

The San Francisco Health Plan (SFHP) and a third party administrator for the San Francisco Department of Public Health's new Healthy San Francisco program, have selected Plexis Healthcare Systems (Ashland, Ore.) to provide benefits administration, electronic data interchange, and advanced analytic and reporting solution for Healthy San Francisco.

The San Francisco-based SFHP was selected by the SF Department of Public Health to oversee the billing component of the city's Healthy San Francisco non-insurance solution for uninsured residents program.

Sponsored by the city, SFHP was created to provide medical care to low-income San Francisco residents, while supporting San Francisco's public and community-minded doctors, clinics, and hospitals.
