Blue Shield of California (San Francisco) has contracted with MedeFinance (Oakland, Calif.), a provider of business analytics and client services, to strengthen and streamline its provider communications and processes.

According to Blue Shield, the not-for-profit health plan is collaborating with MedeFinance to obtain data on hospital operations, network management and claims processes.
