AGFA Signs on to Supply Imaging Contracts

The University Health System Consortium, VHA Inc., and HealthCare Purchasing International (HPPI) member facilities have reached deals with Agfa Healthcare for radiology and cardiology imaging solutions.

Contracts were awarded in three product categories; radiology picture archiving and communications system (PACS) solutions, radiology information system (RIS) solutions and cardiology PACS. The new agreements will be effective May 1.

The deals were facilitated by Irving, Texas.-based Novation, a national contract development services company, which conducted a competitive bid process.

Agfa Healthcare, part of the Motsel, Belgium-based Agfa-Gevaert Group, has its North American headquarters in Greenville, S.C.
