MedSolutions, a provider of radiology management services based in Franklin Tenn., has launched its cardiac imaging management product, Outcomes-Focused Cardiac Imaging.
According to MedSolutions, its cardiac management solution promotes the delivery of appropriate tests through qualified providers, leveraging analytics, personalized call center operations and radiology care management.
The timing of this product introduction also coincides with National Coverage Analysis (NCA) from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services regarding Computed Tomographic Angiography (CTA). According to CMS, proponents have claimed that the use of cardiac CTA — a noninvasive method used to visualize the coronary arteries (or other vessels) — will lead to better health outcomes and a reduction in cardiac catheterization.
