The Healthcare Information Technology Standards Panel (HITSP, Chicago) is asking experts in the field to join HITSP and its technical committees as they seek to facilitate interoperability across healthcare enterprises.

Opportunities for participation on the panel include current standards harmonization efforts such as medication management, consumer access to clinical information, quality, emergency responder EHR, and security and privacy constructs, and new use cases such as personalized healthcare, consultations and transfers of care, immunizations and response management, public health case reporting, remote monitoring, and patient-provider secure messaging.

To register for free membership on the panel, visit www.hitsp.org. To sign up for a HITSP Technical Committee, please contact Jessica Kant, Standards Harmonization Coordinator [email protected] or Theresa Wisdom, Standards Harmonization Manager [email protected].

HITSP is a collaboration of organizations — including the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), HIMSS, Booz Allen Hamilton and the Advanced Technology Institute — that work in partnership with experts from the healthcare community to administer the standards harmonization initiative.
