Dublin, Ohio-headquartered Cardinal Health has introduced a flexible inventory lab management system. The Connect System, Cardinal says, was designed to simplify supply ordering for laboratories by better controlling supply expenses, improving inefficiency and minimizing stock-outs, freeing up staff.

The company touts its Connect System as a comprehensive inventory management solution that uses custom product bar codes and scanners to reduce the time labs spend ordering supplies. In addition, the system helps labs create a consistent ordering process for all products while providing immediate access to the right products at the right time. Cardinal says its product helps better control supply expenses by reducing unnecessary inventory and allowing users to track supply spend by department and test platform.
