Transworld and MDeverywhere Speed up Collections

Santa Rosa, Calif.-based Transworld Systems Inc. (TSI), a profit recovery company, recently formed a partnership with Long Island, N.Y.-based MDeverywhere.

According to MDeverywhere, a national provider of physician revenue cycle management, it selected TSI as its collection agency to streamline the collections process for slow-paying patient accounts.

MDeverwhere stated that by using Transworld's collection system, called GreenFlag Profit Recovery, medical practices can view all of their collection activities and administer collections directly through Transworld Systems. The company contends that practices are able to flag slow-paying patient accounts and electronically transfer those accounts to Transworld to handle the collections.
