Denver-based Diversified Radiology of Colorado (DRC).installed a PACS system from Montreal-based Intelerad Medical Systems to consolidate data from multiple PACS and RIS systems in the radiology group, says the company.
Prior to the new InteleOne PACS, it adds, radiologists at DRC read from over a dozen different PACS. It now has the ability to use a single worklist and viewer to report for all of the sites in their network, it tours.
The initial phase of the InteleOne implementation unifies the worklists of five DRC imaging facilities: St. Vincent General Hospital, Vail-Summit Orthopaedics in Edwards, Vail-Summit Orthopaedics in Frisco, Durango Orthopedics, and Rocky Mountain Cancer Center (RMCC)
Diversified Radiology of Colorado, P.C. is the result of merging three radiology groups; Metropolitan Radiologists who served Mercy, Avista, North Suburban Medical Center and Platte Valley Medical Center, and Western Radiologists who served Exempla St. Joseph Hospital.
