    According to the company, version 4.1 integrates the Patient Risk and Safety module (The Sullivan Group, Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.) with OrderView Med Knowledge Base (First DataBank, San Bruno, Calif.).

    The company says enhanced enterprise management features offered in version 4.1 provide Integrated Delivery Networks with the tools to support mass updates and access to patient information documented in Medhost. This includes obtaining a patient's clinical history directly from the hospital information system (HIS) or the Medhost EDIS, as well as home medication reconciliation, contends Medhost.
