Orem, Utah-based KLAS recently released a pair of reports focusing on anesthesia information systems and revenue cycle services.
The first report, In the Growing Market for Anesthesia Software: Liability, Integration and the Benefits of Adoption, found that while the AIS market is small and immature, early adopters are recognizing noteworthy benefits such as better patient care, a reasonable return on investment and decreased liability.
Findings from KLAS’ second report, entitled, Revenue Cycle Services: From the Extended Business Office to Transformational Services, indicate that despite the spotlight on clinical systems, the market for large- and small-scale revenue cycle services continues to grow. The research looked at consulting firms offering extended business office services, revenue cycle transformations and full revenue cycle outsourcing.
