Blue Mountain Hospital of Blanding, Utah, has completed the implementation of Carlsbad, Calif.-based Medsphere’s OpenVista EHR, the company says.
The implementation of the open source system took less than one year, according to Medsphere, and will give Blue Mountain clinicians access to CPOE and clinical documentation. In addition, the company says the roll-out will provide Blue Mountain with clinical IT support for laboratory, radiology and pharmacy services.
Blue Mountain is a rural, 11-bed hospital that serves mostly Native American patients. Blue Mountain provides medical services to residents of the Four Corners region encompassing sections of Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico.
