Frye Regional Medical Center (Hickory, N.C.) is implementing Simplifi 797 quality assurance software from Bellevue, Wash.-based Pharmacy OneSource, Inc. to help meet the requirements for compounding sites throughout the hospital.

Simplifi 797 is a Web-based application designed to streamline the quality activities and documentation required to meet the U.S. Pharmacopeia’s Chapter 797 best practice guidelines, according to the company. The software manages task scheduling for environmental monitoring and automates the reporting of exceptions and compliance, it says.

Frye Regional Medicine Center is a 355-bed private facility that has more than 300 active physicians representing over 35 specialties, as well as a professional staff of more than 1,700 employees.
