Dallas-based Brit Systems has released UrgentWorks, a browser-based application designed to support the flagging of urgent findings, critical test results and ER discordance by reporting clinicians, as well as communication and results tracking to the ordering physician.

With UrgentWorks, all updates to critical results and urgent findings are immediately available across the enterprise, according the company. Critical findings and history of communications can be viewed and updated by all involved users on the browser interface, it touts.

Brit Systems also claims that reporting clinicians can use UrgentWorks to communicate their findings in accordance to American College of Radiology guidelines and Joint Commission initiatives.
