U.K.-based Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust will deploy Carefx's (Scottsdale, Ariz.) Fusion interoperability platform to deliver identity and access management capabilities.

According to Carefx, more than 2,000 clinicians at the Cambridge-based Trust will use Fusion to access all authorized applications with a single-user ID and password. They say the system will be used for secure access to a synchronized snapshot of patient data housed in disparate information systems.

According to Carefx, this deployment will also expand the company's U.K. reach.
