Chicago-based HIMSS Analytics is doubling the number of free benchmark reports given to healthcare organizations.

The new reports include 27 additional hospital-level reports and 13 new reports that compare de-identified healthcare system IDS/data center information. The reports are offered to all healthcare providers that complete HIMSS Analytics’ Annual Study, which populates the HIMSS Analytics Database.

The reports, the organization says, have enhanced, flexible peer-selection capabilities that enable users to define peers based on 32 characteristics.
