Kalispell Automates ED

in Kalispell, Mont. has automated its emergency department with Addison, Texas-based Medhost's full-suite software.

According to Medhost, Kalispell elected to replace its previous EDIS with Medhost because of its successful track record of interfacing with Kalispell's Hospital Information Systems vendor. The ability to instantly customize and build on existing charting templates to increase workflow efficiencies also was critical to Kalispell's EDIS vendor decision, the company says.
