Garden City Hospital (Mich.) implemented Dallas-based Emergisoft’s ED EHR in order to improve patient safety, decrease patient wait times, and to streamline clinical workflow in the ED, says the company.

CareTech Solutions (Troy, Mich.), Garden City Hospital’s IT partner, managed the upgrade in the ED and will continue to support and train the end users on Emergisoft’s Emergency Department EHR. CareTech has provided IT management services for the hospital since 2001 and supports and maintains all IT functions for Garden City Hospital.

Garden City, a 323-bed community hospital, went live with EmergisoftED in December 2004.
