Scott & White Hospital at University Medical Campus in Round Rock, Texas, has automated its emergency department with Addison, Texas-based Medhost Inc.’s full-suite software.

The new hospital, which is fully integrated with Scott & White’s main Temple, Texas, facility, is using Medhost to ensure quality patient care, complete documentation and efficient workflow.

According to the company, its intuitive screen technology enables clinicians to improve documentation. In addition, Medhost claims its administrative ToolKit provides the hospital with a way to modify processes in real-time, allowing it to respond to clinical, financial, regulatory and technical changes quickly.
