Saratoga, Calif.-based Ekahau Inc. has rolled out an enhanced version of its Wi-Fi real time location systems (RTLS) positioning engine.
Ekahau Positioning Engine (EPE) 4.2 is designed to deliver improved standards-based location accuracy, speed and savings to the Wi-Fi-based RTLS market and application developers, according to the company.
EPE 4.2 is the foundation for Ekahau RTLS, a turn-key RTLS system that is installed over a Wi-Fi infrastructure. Ekahau RTLS is a software solution that supports location using the existing Wi-Fi network.
