MedStar Health, a nine-facility hospital system in Maryland and Washington, D.C., has selected InSite One’s (Wallingford, Conn.) InDex Enterprise Archive for enterprise-wide medical data storage.

According to the company, the flagship InSite One solution will eliminate departmental data silos and streamlines information access by integrating imaging information across multiple locations into a single standards-based, application-neutral archive.

The MedStar project involves data migration of more than 150 terabytes of imaging data, the company adds.
