Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, an integrated regional delivery system based in Glendale, Wis., is rolling out solutions from Emeryville, Calif.-based MedeAnalytics that will deliver real-time patient access, revenue cycle, self pay, registration quality and RAC analytics.
The solutions will be deployed throughout Wheaton’s Wisconsin and Iowa regions, which include 10 acute care sites and nearly 100 ambulatory locations. According to the company, the implementation is expected to significantly increase point-of-service cash collections and reduce bad debt through the automation, standardization and enhancement of the patient access process and business office workflow.
Wheaton Franciscan is a Catholic, not-for-profit organization with more than 100 sites in Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois, including 16 hospitals, four long-term care facilities, two home health agencies, and 70 clinic sites.
