OnCure Medical Corp., headquartered in Newport Beach, Calif., selected Denver-based The Breakaway Group to develop a hospitality-driven approach to healthcare at 35 radiation centers in California and Florida.
During the first quarter of 2008, the company says The Breakaway Group and OnCure will complete extensive research, develop simulation and coaching techniques, and begin on-site clinician learning at two OnCure locations. According to the company, training and implementation are expected to be completed in most of the radiation centers by the end of 2008.
OnCure Medical Corp. is a provider of freestanding radiation oncology care. It owns, operates and manages 35 radiation centers in California and Florida. The company also provides clinical and management services to another six cancer centers and manages mobile HDR and PET/CT units.
