GE Healthcare of Waukesha, Wis. says it’s planning to bring electrocardiogram data to more EMRs than ever before.

The company’s Diagnostic Cardiology business has begun to work with EMR vendors to create bridges and enable compatibility. The solution won’t be tied to any single device but will, instead, be compatible with each of GE’s contracted vendors, the company says.

In addition to its compatibility with the GE Healthcare Centricity EMR solution, the GE Healthcare Diagnostic Cardiology business has entered into development agreements with a variety of other vendors, namely:

· e-MDs Inc.

· eClinical works

· GEMMS

· McKesson Provider Technologies

· Medinotes Corporation

· Medtuity Inc.
