Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center (HPMC), an acute-care facility located in Los Angeles, has selected Phillipsburg, N.J.-based Infinitt North America’s PACS to replace its legacy image and information management system.

An early adopter of PACS technology, HPMC plans to use Infinitt’s Replacement and Data Migration Services to consolidate image data from two previous systems into a single image archive, the company says. The facility currently has an imaging procedure volume of approximately 100,000 studies per year.

HPMC has been caring for the Hollywood community and surrounding areas since 1924. It is owned and operated by CHA Health Systems, which also owns four acute care hospitals with approximately 2,000 beds, two specialty clinics, a medical university and a cell and gene therapy research institute.
