PatientKeeper Inc. (Newton, Mass.), a provider of physician information systems, has launched PatientKeeper P4P, a quality measurement module.

According to PatientKeeper, its solution automates the process of collecting and reporting quality metrics under the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' (CMS) 2007 Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI).

The PatientKeeper P4P solution enables hospitals to manage data collection and reporting processes for PQRI without having to create a separate process for each CMS measure, says the company. In addition, PatientKeeper contends its solution provides a way for physicians to automatically trigger the appropriate questions as charges are being entered.
