Knoxville, Tenn.-based PerfectServe, a clinical communications system for hospitals and physician practices, has recently signed agreements to standardize clinician-to-clinician communications for Orlando Health, which includes the 808-bed Orlando Regional Medical Center and the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Orlando; Advocate Good Shepherd (Barrington, Ill.), a 183-bed hospital that is one of a handful of U.S. community hospitals to move solely to 100 percent computerized physician order entry (CPOE); and Hoag Hospital’s (Newport Beach, Calif.) new Irvine facility.

PerfectServe facilitates fast and accurate communications through a standardized and documented method that reduces variability in the clinical communications process. It is a physician-centric, rules-based communications workflow engine that allows physicians to filter and control the communications they receive based on their practice workflow and personal contact preferences. Its single network platform and directory connects every medical staff member with access via voice search, Web, and mobile interfaces.
