San Diego-based staffing software company Concerro Inc. has acquired Los Angeles-based PortBlue Corp.’s CommandAware hospital incident management system line of business, the company says.
CommandAware enables hospitals to prepare for, manage, and recover from disasters and incidents of all kinds, while also providing the functionality for day-to-day hospital capacity management, the company claims. In addition, it says its regional data sharing system enables multi-agency regional coordination through the sharing of data on capacity, equipment and supplies, critical infrastructure and personnel with real time Incident Command System status.
Concerro provides Web-based workforce management software and services designed to reduce labor costs, protect revenue, and improve hospital staff and patient satisfaction. PortBlue builds systems to model their decision-making processes, as well as hosts and maintains the systems.
