At Lourdes Hospital, a 397-bed facility located in Paducah, Ky., 100 physicians representing 80 percent of the affiliated practitioners have adopted Nashville-based Informatics Corporation of America (ICA)’s Web-based, interactive clinical portal.

According to the company, ICAre Portal collects data from the hospital’s core information system, as well as laboratory, radiology, ambulatory EMRs, and other supporting clinical systems, to present a longitudinal patient record. The solution enables users to remotely view admission status, diagnostic results, clinical reports, and radiological images of patients in the hospital, it says.

Part of the Cincinnati-based Catholic Healthcare Partners system, Lourdes serves residents of western Kentucky, southern Illinois and northwest Tennessee, particularly those who are underserved.
